Hawaii's Obama VS Corsi

Aloha,
While Senator Obama is reconnecting with the Aloha Spirit, an anti-Obama book, written by a man named Corsi, is about to hit the New York Times best seller list. This song is for you Senator Obama. Aloha!

Genre: Political Poetry

Message to Jerome Corsi:
Keep Your Carbon Footprint Off the Back of My Neck

The world view stands Obama ready and steady
As some launch attacks, they say he's too "Heady"
And with a grudge still judge him by his university
All the while still beguile the power of diversity

Some speak best with a tongue of bitterness
Weaving narrative with a swing and a miss
To derail Obama with a big best seller
And win a debate to be the loudest yeller

Of Corsi it's true if you already believe that stuff
Written so smooth with ideas so rough
Of Corsi it's true if you like spinning a yarn
To get the world headed to the same old barn

It's true skepticism still finds a marketplace
Writing from a distance not talking face to face
Attack Obama's story right down to his roots
All the while hoping the world gives two hoots

Of Corsi it's yours to render Obama extreme
With your thinly veiled message not to look so mean
So spread your bitterness be divisive what the heck
But keep your carbon footprint off the back of my neck

Pristine Green

Hot Summer Snow

Let's all inch a little more forward
Toward a stronger footing
Shy away from ocean pudding
Let's all move on this
Away from our own distress
Let's all build a vast forest

Must we mount insecurity
Ensure obscurity of dangerous kinds
Can we be sure in our own time
Were we so behind the blinds?

Let's replace this vast fortress to sho
The care we already know
Far away from this hot summer snow
Let's make a place we can go
